They play the hits of Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Ricky Nelson, Chuck Berry and much more. The immaculate are totally entertaining and invariably within minutes of starting their first tune, the dance floor is covered with delighted rock and rollers getting their rocks off dancing to the infectious music of this very classy rock and roll and rockabilly outfit. Based in Bangkok, the band plays throughout Asia by invitation and are available for concerts, festivals, corporate events and other special occasions.
Peter Driscoll leads the Cruisers as the charismatic singer and raconteur, drawing on a wealth of experience in a lifetime of fronting bands in the tough and competitive U.K music business. Peter has rubbed shoulders with the cream of the rock and roll greats including Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Cliff Richards and Billy Fury and has shared the stage and played with more visiting rock and roll favourites than he cares to recall. This suave rocker is known for his crucial sense of style and presentation and is also a noted musicologist, passing on his awesome knowledge to great effect on stage and building great rapport with his audience between tunes, with tailored anecdotes loaded with facts and as often as not, funny too.
Kip Oxman
Kip Oxman was introduced to the Bass by his 5th grade Science teacher in Denver, Colorado and by the age of 14 was playing with a band at high school parties on weekends. Kip joined Press and toured for 2 years. After a brief stint with a heavy metal band Kip joined Elik Pink And The Dolls with whom he toured extensively. Later he studied music theory and classical composition at the University of Colorado. Kip moved to Shanghai and played with Kidney Stone and Picasso Smiling before settling in Bangkok.Vivek Ayer
Vivek Ayer grew up in Chennai, south India, and started playing guitar at an early age. Influenced by Jazz and Psychedelic Rock, Vivek was soon jamming with local musicians in the Chennai scene, forming various bands and playing in college competitions. After moving to London he joined a Psychedelic Rock band Tallahassee Jacknives and toured the London Pub circuit. He has a studio project under the pseudonym Sugar Loaf Walker, writing and recording progressive instrumental guitar music, in collaboration with his brother in the US on bass guitar.Current Cruisers
